Finance Operations is in charge of all operational financial services for our DPDHL Group companies (including OTC, PTP, and RTR). Our objective is to be the most comprehensive and cost-effective provider of all financial services to our Group companies, allowing the Group to focus solely on its core business of logistics services.

Your responsibilities and challenges are as follows:

  • The Finance Operations – BPO team is in charge of three things.
  • Strategic finance initiatives for and in collaboration with all DPDHL departments
  • Traditional Finance Operations process optimization projects
  • Automation Designer – RPA (UiPath) Responsibilities

You will: Depending on the level of experience:

  • Provide RPA process assistance in coordination with the German team, including the creation, testing, and implementation of digital process automation solutions at the Shared Service Center, all while assuring continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.

  • You offer long-term, cutting-edge technologies that can be scaled, maintained, and ideally constantly upgraded to support RPA processes.

In specifics:

  • Maintaining, developing, and defining support solutions for new and current process automations is your duty.

  • Implementation with our preferred RPA tool, “UiPath,” in tandem with other technologies such as Bizagi (BPM), Abbyy (OCR), or Cogenesis (NLP).

  • In partnership with our process analysts, automation architects, and project managers, we design and identify manual and automated support measures for our new and existing automation systems.
  • Working with product backlogs and user stories in an agile project setting.
  • Regular communication with colleagues in Digitalization and Business Process Optimization to promote and implement harmonization, standardization, and best practices.
  • Furthermore, you will advise and support our accounting departments – particularly automation designers – on optimization of processes, IT systems, and digitalization options for the current support setup, as well as contribute your expertise to the finance area’s strategic future development in terms of profitability, efficiency, and quality of the present-day automation landscape.

profile: 

  • Bachelor’s (B.Tech/B.E/B.Sc) or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
  • Professional experience in digitization or IT-related initiatives is preferred.
  • Strong UiPath experience (ideally as a “Advanced RPA Developer”).
  • Knowledge of one of the following programming languages is required: C#, VB.NET, SQL, VBA, and/or Javascript.
  • Fluent and very good English (written and spoken) skills (C1).
  • German language skills are advantageous.

Desirable qualifications:

  • Knowledge of data analysis, dashboard creation, and query development (Splunk, Power BI, etc.)
  • Understanding of Low-Code app development and process automation (Power Platform, Appian, etc.).
  • Business Process Modeling (Bizagi) knowledge.
  • Understanding of the Finance Accounting Environment (preferably SAP).
  • Process analysis and optimization knowledge (Six Sigma, Lean,).
  • Service management/support/operations knowledge (monitoring, ticketing systems, escalation processes, etc.).

Other criteria include:

  • Technical understanding: Knowledge of IT systems.
  • Problem-solving abilities include the capacity to identify and solve difficulties.
  • Analytical abilities include data analysis and interpretation.
  • Teamwork abilities: the capacity to operate cooperatively and internationally as a member of a team.
  • The ability to adapt to changing circumstances is referred to as flexibility.
