Wipro Position Description

Purpose of Role:

Wipro – The Setup Configuration Specialist (SCS) is in charge of setting and testing Alight’s patented Total Benefit Administration (TBA) System to satisfy our clients’ demands.

Configuring entails setting up and configuring tables/parameters in the TBA System as specified by analysis utilizing proprietary systems and technologies.

Testing include preparing test cases and test data, as well as carrying out test operations as directed by the SA.

This is an entry-level position for candidates with good programming abilities (logical thinking, analytical skills), system setup, and testing linked to systems that support human resource operations.

Wipro – Responsibilities and Roles:

Technical / domain expertise, system development and quality assurance, ongoing task management – 80%.

Communication: Participates actively in huddles/meetings, good communication via Maestro/Mail, Lync, client team touch base – 10%

Support for operations/other services/shared services -5%

5% is allocated to continuous improvement and other client/organization activities.

Roles and responsibilities:

80% of the time is spent on technical / domain expertise, system development and quality assurance, and continuous job management.

Participates actively in huddles/meetings, maintains strong communication via Maestro/Mail, Lync, and client team touch base – 10%

Operations assistance/other services/shared services -5%

5% of the budget is set aside for continuous improvement and other client/organizational activities.
